How not to run an audio company...

Recommended Posts

Wow. I even seen your name mentioned in that one Aaron.

Yeah, he is desperately trying to divert and misdirect as to blame his failures on other people.

LMAO.

My favorite post in the first linked thread. From Brad Warren. Brad is one of the coolest and probably the most knowledgeable guy left on Ecoustics.

"So let's recap the entire story. Steve Miller is basically a good guy who cares about his customers. That means props to him. I truly believe he means well, but...... he hires douchebags to sell his stuff and names his company Revolution Design when there is nothing "Revolutionary" at all about his products and there is no "Design" involved. All they do is copy everyone else's designs. Yes they will get loud, and they have succeeded on that at least. But there are many companies who can claim that distinction. With me so far?. OK.

Add in morons like Kevin Holden and all the others who pawn RD stuff on every forum without a care in the world other than sheer profit, of which E is the last of by the way, since they have been banned on all the other forums because guess what, they have admins and moderators who actually watch for these things. Cool huh? Then you add in the inconsistencies in which they blame on FedEx and the stories from CA and other major sites where they have either lied or worn out their welcome... and have been banned... and you have a pretty accurate picture as to how these guys operate. I mean --- Steve Miller is the owner, yet this guy can't even spell or write a comprehensible paragraph. He types "your" instead of "you're" in every other sentence. He also cannot answer simple questions by members of CA that are asked of him. Like for instance: what is your training? What degrees in audio or any experience at all do you have? No answers. Does this not raise a red flag or two?

Bottom line is this..... RD products can indeed break the 150dB plateau and make you a studly car audio God.... but is it really worth dealing with the stigma attached to the name? I leave that up to you guys. I personally would be embarrassed to own any of their crap. RD aka Réctal Douchefags FTL."

But i dont wanna argue or anything i am just stating what i saw. So is Steve really a bad owner? I know nothing about him or RD.

The sad thing is the young kids that time and time again get sucked into the lies and BS, and their eDuh like defense of him because they have not been screwed over yet.  I find it really funny the conspiracy theory that a certain dealer has that I run the car audio Internet so that is why he is banned from every site.  It is pretty simple when you break the rules of the site over and over again, so why do you think you have a leg to stand on when you complain about being banned, especially when I was not the one who did it.  Ahh well, there will be an endless stream of these people trying to take advantage of people who know little about what they are looking for.

Quoted for the funnies, and due to recent topics on other sites that further support the reason to run far away.

:headshake:

Never really cared for that company, always got a bad vibe from them. :shrugs:

They are just a comedy of errors. There are a number of topics on CA.com I could have linked here in recent months, but forgot about this topic.

I thought the basket was broke at first, but I figured it to be a glob of glue. The tensil lead also looks a little goofy(not connected, the glue on the wire I believe wont help things much either.

I feel bad, as I don't mean to make fun, but that is their product and they shipped it out like that. When a customer has to trim down the leads and excess glue, well I don't have to explain that.

Just stunning that the company in question is still in business. Would be on thing if it was only a few things a while ago, but it has been steady bad for a long time. What is on the sad side is that I don't look for these things, they just keep showing up all across the net.
