2005 F250 Budget Build In Progress

Recommended Posts

WinISD Pro can do iso enclosures.

Thanks, just downloaded it. Man, I have a lot to learn. I've still got this crazy idea of building an iso with a large pvc pipe and building a console around it.

found about 15' of 12" in a brush/trash pile in the part of our subdivision that is under construction. It measures 11.75 ID and 12.5 ODSAM_0040_zps8620bdc2.jpg

Nice score since 12" PVC is stupid expensive per foot. Two pieces look to be schedule 80 and the other schedule 40. Schedule 80 can withstand more pressure (thicker). An Iso-kit would drop in one of those easy. An 8 would leave room for the port (without a big flare) on the same end.

I think this is discarded water pipe, the thinner looking piece is the tapered end. I was thinking of maybe either putting a speaker(most likely 10") in each end back to back with the phased flipped and sealed or one speaker and a passive radiator.

had to winch it out of a pile of trees. They were going to burn it. I may go drag a couple of big logs to my house for fire wood.

Had some liquid gold($93/pt) left over from getting my hood and trim painted. Going to try to paint one of my amps with it, if it works I'll paint the other. Metallic copper should look real nice.
