I really needa get my car hauler fixed so I'm not constantly adding and removing insurance from that truck.

At the moment, I pay insurance on 3 vehicles (soon to be 4) ... whats wrong with keeping the green truck updated so we can drive it ???

Because last I had insurance on it, it ran me $115/month for liability alone.

I don't remember where that number came from, but I just checked online and basic liability for my truck is $30/month. Maybe it was when I had the system and other stuff in the truck added to the insurance.

You better check with your insurance company on the trailer. MS requires trailers like yours to be registered/tagged, but does not mandate trailer insurance on non-commercial. Laws vary by state, but in most cases you'll find that your trailer is covered under your vehicle's liability insurance policy. If you cannot find trailer protection listed under your current policy, you should be able to obtain coverage as an add-on to your car's existing insurance plan. For help with this, contact your insurance agent. If you're worried about vandalism, theft, or even having a tree topple over on to your trailer, you may want to consider taking out a separate comprehensive policy for the trailer. Trailer insurance is pretty cheap. Depending on trailer type and use, it's not uncommon to find trailer insurance for under $75.

Thanks, didn't know about that! Yeah I'll have to go get it tagged.....somehow. Do you still just take the trailer's serial numbers to the DOT to get it registered?

Take the serial number and trailer description to the courthouse to get it registered and tagged.

Well, this past week I pulled my engine down to find out why my truck is drinking more water than fuel ...

Turns out ... I had a blown intake gasket.

Well thank God it's payday Friday so I can get my new gasket set, get things cleaned up, and put back together by next weekend ...

Next weekend (well, may take a couple of weekends ...) is gonna be fun cause we are going to pull the enclosure, remove the bed from the truck, and get my C-Notch and Helper Air Ride set up done ... Looks like I'm gonna get me some practice and polish up my Welding Skills !!!

There's alot of work that needs to be done to my truck's frame ...

Truck is running !!! All of the major problems with the engine are fixed !!!

Only things left to do there is go back and readjust my exhaust doughnut gaskets so they will quit leaking, and throw in a gallon of antifreeze tomorrow ...

Next on the list ... Relpace the heater core so me and the wife can have some heat this winter ...

... and pull out the rear seat and amplifier rack so we can get the enclosure out to get it repaired ... Some more preventive work will be done to the truck also with this ...

Making progress !!! one wood screw at a time ...
