    Ford Puma Rail Adapter

I'm in the middle of replacing the stock head unit on my Puma to a Pioneer DEH-X5500BT. I bought the facia kit (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Puma-Stereo-Radio-Fascia-Facia-Fitting-KIT-/270754129724?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0a34273c), but I am having trouble connecting the rail adapter that holds the back of the unit in place up high in the double din space. This thread explains it pretty well: http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?p=243227 Has anyone got any ideas on how the adapter should be fitted to the back of the head unit, on the heat sink I suppose. I was considering just a glue gun, but don't know how warm these things get and if the glue would melt again or what? Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    Name That Lead

Got a new stereo off eBay and it came with the adapter lead still attached. Anyone any idea what car it's for so I can sell it on? http://s1302.photobucket.com/user/musicformybumhole/media/IMAG0021_zpsa5e4f18c.jpg.html

Ford Puma Customer Sub - Noob Builder

http://www.flickr.com/photos/96666364@N06/9583887632/ Got a photo of the wheel well in my boot that I want to use for the fiberglass enclosure. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated, especially on what volume I need to make the enclosure, as the tutorial I linked above covers pretty much it all bar how to work out the volume needed. Thanks

Ford Puma Customer Sub - Noob Builder

I'll get some photos up in the next few days. Thanks for all the welcomes.
  6. Just got a Ford Puma and am looking to put a sub in the wheel well. I have been looking over this guide on a fiberglass enclosure and want to give it a go in the right wheel well, same as the guide: http://www.instructables.com/id/Custom-Fiberglass-Subwoofer/ Obviously the Puma has a very small boot, so I was looking at the Pioneer shallow 8" sub: http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/131/201/TS-SW841D/page.html As a first time builder I'm looking for as much help as possible really in terms of getting the right enclosure volume and right sub. So if anyone has any experience with these subs or if there is an alternative I should be looking at, I'd be very grateful. There are 4 speakers in the doors and rear 3/4 panels that I would like to upgrade, and would like to run from a Pioneer X-5500 head unit, then I need an amp just for the sub. Again, if this sounds realistic or point me in the right direction if not. Thanks in advance for any help.
