Just got a Ford Puma and am looking to put a sub in the wheel well.
I have been looking over this guide on a fiberglass enclosure and want to give it a go in the right wheel well, same as the guide:

Obviously the Puma has a very small boot, so I was looking at the Pioneer shallow 8" sub:

As a first time builder I'm looking for as much help as possible really in terms of getting the right enclosure volume and right sub. So if anyone has any experience with these subs or if there is an alternative I should be looking at, I'd be very grateful.
There are 4 speakers in the doors and rear 3/4 panels that I would like to upgrade, and would like to run from a Pioneer X-5500 head unit, then I need an amp just for the sub. Again, if this sounds realistic or point me in the right direction if not.
Thanks in advance for any help.
