This is a mock up of the fan shroud for the amps, it fits snuggly over the amp and covers and protects all the RCA and speaker binding posts on the end without adding any additional length past those connectors. The fan shrouds will be powder coated in colors to match the heat sinks and have nice artwork and lettering on top. It adds 1/2 inch height to the amplifiers The fan shroud may have to be used in some installs where the location has poor ventilation or exposed to direct sunlight in summer, but our testing in nearly a years time shows so far that probably 85% of the people will not need the shroud.

Once you hear one of these you will know it was worth every penny. These amps are un-believable in SQ and dynamics, and just plain power. The LP2150, if rated by CEA at 1% THD at 1K would be nearly 400 watt per channel run into a 4 ohm load resistor. Into a musical load such as our component system (fairly stable at 3 ohms, see our impedance curves on www.bluescaraudio.com) will produce over 500 watts of dynamic power per channel into the speaker system. This amp is a perfect match to our BL6.5CP or BL6.5CA two way system. The one amp on the passive system is all you need unless you just want an active system to be able to run separate time alignments on the woofer and tweeter, otherwise for SQ the active system really is not needed.

Pre-orders on a high end American amp? Interesting. Curious as to what the discount will be.

We are reserving amps from the first order for a list of people that want the amps. the amps will be on the market sometime in late April or early May unless something goes really wrong.

Think you can get pretty close on the color for this guy? Just picked it up and I think it needs a Linear power/Blues setup :)

We can match up to 220 powder coat colors, I am sure we can get close enough, if not exact.
