Events Listing for Team Linear Power / Blues Car Audio

Recommended Posts

Good to here Steve. I saw the pic of the pillars Rich did for Aaron's Z and I thought they looked great. Rich and I have had the points discussion several times and I agree that without some really serious effort there are just not many points to be had. I'll plug their scores in once they are posted.

I know Ray will be at Scrapin the Coast this weekend. I'm not sure who else will/won't. I won't make it but will be at The Vinny in Lebanon, TN on July 10. I won't have a car of my own so I'm sure I'll be babysitting the Escape.

Hey everyone,

I am going to apologize to everyone who watches this site to see where the team is going to be. If you are watching to see where my trailblazer is going to be next it is not known at this time. The next time it shows just might be finals. I forgot that I am not ad young as I used to be yesterday. I tried jumping a fence and broke my knee. So therefore we will not be doing a whole lot of traveling these next few months. Please keep checking back because I will post what show the trailblazer will be at next when it has been determined. Please excuse any misspelled words or if this sounds like gibberish because I am on pain meds.

UPDATE! LeaAnn is resting at home after seeing a specialist yesterday. According to the x-ray she sheared off and shattered one side of the crown of the large bone behind her knee. Yea it make my stomach turn looking at the x-ray! The first dr said he had never seen a break like this and the second dr said the only time hes seen this kind of break was in the hospital(he seemed shocked she was moving on crutches much less moving at all!).

We go to get a MRI/CT scan done today. Then back to dr for possible surgery tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery. She is really bummed that she doesnt know about what shows she will make (dr says 4 to 6 weeks healing then 4 to 6 weeks theropy)so we will see what happens.

She's just a tough Marine (there is no such thing as an ex-Marine!). Take it easy, if she will. Hollar if you need something.

Hope it goes well Leanne. I'm in Jackson manning the Blues / LP desk. I was really looking forward to seeing you this visit. I could drive your truck to event and babysit it but would need someone else to drive it back to MS.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the offer. We will have to see about that because right now that is the only vehicle that we have that I can ride comfortably in. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. I look forward to getting back on the road with the team. Good luck to everyone in their up coming show.

LeaAnn will be in surgery tomorrow at 9 am at River Oaks in Flowood. They will be putting in two plates and some pins to reattach a bone in the back of her knee joint and the bone that her ACL is attached to. She will be down for about a month. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery!

Just a quick update: had a ruff nite but it got better. After an allergic reaction to an antibiotic LeaAnn got new meds and got over the reaction. This morning the dr came in and she got to walk to the door and back. May get out of here tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone going to Lebanon today. Be safe and bring home hardware!

Finally cleaned up and cooled down from a hot day in the sun. Richard and Aaron both improved scores by several points over the last show. We're starting to really get a feel for both vehicles tuning. They both were the only ones in their classes so that sucks. Still two first place points.

Show was pretty thin on cars. I'm a bit disappointed in overall turnout but every car there was good. Everyone huddled under two clusters of canopies in 104 heat. We got to spend a lot of time talking with other competitors and judges. Its a great time but we want more cars.

Last night my wife and I went to Mobile Sound Engineering (Eldridges shop) for a single point event. Mark and Rob Rice were the only competitors so we ordered pizza, let Jeremy judge, and hung out.

I don't know if it's public knowledge (so I wont name names) but one of the most iconic cars of SQ past is at MSE to be overhauled. It was mind boggling to walk in and see a car I read about in magazines when I was in high school. I'm middle aged for this industry BTW.

I'm sunburnt and ready to sleep.

The USACi Tuner Jam regional contest was in Jackson yesterday, it was smaller than usual but still a nice show. We had three contestants able to attend, John Neal, Herman Smith, and TJ Lacharite. They were the only ones in their classes and took first place but we have been doing various things to the vehicles and John's and Herman's scores increased reflecting the improvements.

I dont know what class I would be in.

With as much work being done to your truck ... I would be guessing Super Mod for USACI and Moddex (i think i spelled that correctly) for MECA ... not sure ...

Unless you are plan on running SPL classes ... then I'm not sure ... depends on modifications, amp power, number of amps ... son and so forth ... you get the idea.
