Hello everyone, I study in England and I'm doing Design and Technology A-level course.
I choosen to do a car subwoofer box for my final project. My idea is to make a compact
double subwoofer box for two JBL 8'' 800watts. I am trying to make a powerful subwoofer but
which wouldn't take all the free space in a boot. Maybe I will make it as a two blocks which
will fold up.

If you could answer some questions for me, that would be great..

1) Do you think subwoofers take to much free space in your car?
2) Would you buy this kind of subwoofer?
3) What materials do you think I should use for my sub box?

Maybe you could make some suggestions for me. Any help will be appreciated.

1) That is dependent on the car and goals of the system. If you need as much space as possible a smaller sub woofer with a smaller box would be the most usable. If you don't need the space that badly, then options open up.

2) I have not used that JBL to know about it, but there are a few 8" drivers I would buy or own.

3) I usually used 3/4" mdf.
